Today I’m speaking with David Wienir, talent lawyer extraordinaire, from one of the biggest talent agencies in Hollywood. David has worked with top tier celebrities including Madonna and Steven Spielberg. He is a published best-selling author, spent years working at two of the top talent boutiques in the country, and has been teaching Entertainment Law for over 10 years at NYU and UCLA.

David mentions how important it is to not just worry about getting an agent, but about getting the right agent, the right manager. That just means that you want to find representation that actually care about you and your career. It's so important to take an active role in your career. Don't completely depend on agents and managers making things happen for you. You can make things happen for yourself, and you should always be working on it.
